Colman Domingo is charged with murder

Colman Domingo is on the run after being accused of murder in the first look at Madness.

In the teaser for his next Netflix political thriller series, all eight episodes of which premiere November 28 on the streamer, the Oscar nominee plays political consultant turned TV pundit Muncie Daniels, who may have lost her way in life.

“I tell you, it was a set-up. Now I’m being questioned. I have a target on my back. Do you see what they do to me? Domingo says in voiceover as he enters the frame of a surveillance camera. “I feel like I can’t leave. They’re going to blame it all on you.

Created by Stephen Belber, Madness follows Muncie on sabbatical in the Poconos to write the Great American Novel, where he finds himself the only witness to the murder of a well-known white supremacist. Now he is accused of the crime.

Muncie is forced to flee in a desperate fight to clear his name and unravel a global conspiracy before time runs out. Along the way, he will reconnect with his family, find unlikely allies, and fight misinformation in the post-truth era.

The series also stars Marsha Stephanie Blake, Gabrielle Graham, John Ortiz, Tamsin Topolski and TJ Mixson, as well as guest stars Deon Cole, Hamish Allan-Headley, Ennis Esmer, Allison Wright, Bradley Whitford and Stephen McKinley Henderson.

Belber serves as the EP, along with VJ Boyd, director Clement Virgo and Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Kaitlin Dahill of Chernin Entertainment.
