The Blue Line will be closed between McKnight-Westwinds and Whitehorn stations starting at 6 a.m. Saturday.

Calgary Transit posted the notice on its X page Saturday morning, saying shuttle buses would replace rail service between the two stations.

Train service will resume at midnight on Sunday.

The city is carrying out prevention and maintenance work, including signage and barrier repairs at the 44th Avenue NE crossing,

On Sunday, the northbound lanes of Victoria Park/Stampede Station will be closed for maintenance between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m.

All trains will use the southbound tracks.

Work underway at Victoria Park this weekend includes the installation of the canopy cladding and station structure, as well as the installation of glazing and work on the Oculus glazing support steel.

Work at Victoria Park/Stampede Station is expected to be completed by 10pm on Sunday evening.
