A second suspect is being sought in the murder of a Brampton man last month, following the arrest of a woman less than a week ago.

Toronto police said Triston McNally, 37, was found with a gunshot wound in the area of ​​Eglinton Avenue West and Times Road. shortly after 6 a.m. on September 1.

First responders carried out lifesaving measures on the victim and he was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

Police said a female suspect was located and arrested on October 19.

Stacey Downey, 36, of Toronto, has been charged with first degree murder.

On Friday, police announced that a second suspect had now been identified.

Dhamanie Hibbert, 41, also of Toronto, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for first degree murder.

Investigators released an image of the second suspect, described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and 187 pounds, with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes.
