Pixies Announce November 2025 Headlining Shows

THE Leprechauns have announced two last-minute headlining shows for the end of the month, which will take place during their stay in the country, as main support for Pearl jamIt is Dark matter stadium tour. The American alternative rock veterans will headline Melbourne’s Croxton Bandroom on Friday 15 November, as well as Sydney’s Liberty Hall (formerly Max Watt’s) on Wednesday 20 November. This marks the band’s first time playing either venue, as well as two of the most intimate shows the band has ever played in Australia. Tickets for both shows are available via Living Nation.

The Melbourne band joins the Pixies in support of both shows. Belair lip bombs. The garage rock band, freshly signed for Jack White‘s Third Man Records label, ended THE Jerry Can and a van national tour in September, with the support of personalities like Mac the knife, Hoon, Private wives, Fruits of the sun And Sesame girl. They are currently working on the follow-up to their first album, A lush lifereleased in August 2023.

Elves – ‘Velouria’

The Pixies were last in Australia at the end of 2022, as part of their Come on Pilgrim… It’s Surfer Rosa world tour. The tour had I originally came to town in the first quarter of 2020, but was shorten to the growing threat of COVID-19. The group finally return in December 2022with a new album titled Chienrel also in tow.

Since their last appearance here, the band has parted ways with longtime bassist Paz Lechantin, who had been with the group since 2014. She was replaced by former Band of skulls bassist Emma Richardson, who debuted with the band on their 10th studio album The night the zombies came. The album was released late last month on Friday October 25th.

A pre-sale for both shows will run from 10am AEDT on Thursday 7 November and can be registered for here. The general sale will then follow on Friday November 8 – again at 10am AEDT. Tickets are available via Oztix to Melbourne, and via Moshtix for Sydney.
