JD Vance calls Harris ‘trash’ in final speech to voters – despite GOP fury over Biden’s ‘trash’ line

J.D. Vance branded Kamala Harris “trash” in his final speech to American voters – seeming to forget the Republican fury President Joe Biden’s comments in which he seemed to call that of Donald Trump MAGA faithful “garbage.”

As Trump on tour THE Must-See Swing States of North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Michigan on the last day of his presidential campaignTHE Republican vice presidential candidate held a rally in Atlanta, Georgia on Monday evening.

He reprimanded Harris, calling him disrespectful and condescending, before calling her “trash”.

“In two days, we will empty the trash in Washington, DC” Vance said in front of an enthusiastic crowd.

“And the name of the trash can is Kamala Harris.”

The Ohio senator’s snub comes after trash bizarrely became an election buzzword.

At Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden late last month, Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe sparked outrage for making a racist joke about Puerto Rico, calling the U.S. territory a “floating island of garbage.”

The incident sparked a backlash against the Trump campaign.

Then Biden, while responding to Hinchcliffe’s remarks during a call with Latino voters, appeared to also call Trump supporters “trash.”

Vance denounced Biden’s remarks on Monday.

“Our message to Kamala Harris is very simple: The citizens of this country are not trash if they think you are doing a bad job,” he said.

“The citizens of this country are not racist when they think we should close the damn southern border. The citizens of this country are not trash because they want to be able to shop in a nice place to live.

Vance made similar remarks during a campaign speech in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Sunday.

“None of our citizens, regardless of their politics, are idiots for thinking that Kamala Harris did a bad job,” he said. “In just two days we will be emptying the trash in Washington DC.”

Biden and Hinchcliffe have since faces backlash for their comments.

The president and the White House claimed Biden was calling Trump’s rally rhetoric “garbage” — not Trump supporters.

Harris, meanwhile, has tried to create space between herself and her comments, telling reporters in Washington DC last week: “I strongly disagree with any criticism of people based on who they vote for.” »

Trump similarly attempted to distance himself from Hinchcliffe’s comments, telling Fox News’ Sean Hannity: “Every time I go out, I see someone from Puerto Rico. They give me a hug and a kiss.

However, he also tried to capitalize on Biden’s apparent gaffe, dressing in a high-visibility orange vest and climbing into a MAGA brand garbage truck before a rally in Wisconsin last week.

“How do you like my garbage truck?” » Trump asked reporters. “This truck is in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden.”

The stunt came despite Trump repeatedly calling the entire United States “trash” at several campaign rallies in recent weeks.
