After Sunday’s attack at the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton, Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) issued a direct threat, calling on the Indian government to “stop the visit of Indian diplomats to religious institutions in Canada”, failing which they will have to “confront the pro-Khalistan Sikhs”.

THE SFJ is against the “certificate of life” camps in Toronto, Edmonton and Vancouver.

On Sunday, November 3, protesters waving Khalistan flags clashed with worshipers at a Hindu temple in Brampton, sparking condemnation from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who said every Canadian has the right to practice their faith freely and safely. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday strongly condemned the “deliberate attack” in Brampton and called the violence a “cowardly attempt” to intimidate Indian diplomats in the country. “I strongly condemn the deliberate attack on a Hindu temple in Canada. Equally appalling are the cowardly attempts to intimidate our diplomats. Such acts of violence never weaken India’s resolve. We expect the Canadian government to ensure justice and uphold the rule of law,” Prime Minister Modi said in a post.

“After the temple attacks, the SFJ openly threatens Indian diplomats. In the name of freedom of expression, Khalistan terrorist and SFJ leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun is crossing all limits. Attacks on Hindus are a serious crime and Canada is taking no action. Over the past two years, more than 10 attacks have been reported. Now Pannun is threatening diplomats,” senior intelligence sources said.

WHY ARE THEY AGAINST THE CAMPS?

According to intelligence sources, the Khalistanis are against these camps. “According to them, during such events, Indian consulate officials collect information on Sikh militants, hire foot soldiers and target pro-Khalistan Sikhs like Hardeep Singh Nijjar.”

“Their position is that any organization that sponsors or permits the use of its facilities for life certificate camps should be prepared to face a Khalistan rally directed against Indian diplomats and not against the place of worship, which it is a Hindu temple or a Gurdwara Sahib. “, sources said.

“They claim that Indo-Canadian Hindus were the first to raise a violent slogan and attack the Khalistan rally. They say they only repelled the attackers in Brampton. They believe that Indo-Canadians are using Hindu Mandirs in Surrey and Brampton to call for the killing of Sikhs. They say that the SFJ does not incite, provoke or direct violence, but that the SFJ will kill the Indian system in a non-violent way,” they said.

AFTER THE ATTACK

Peel Regional Police in Canada said they arrested three individuals following a demonstration organized by the Coalition of Hindus of North America (CoHNA) to protest “intimidation of Khalistanis” and “anti- Hindu” after recent attacks on Hindu temples. in Canada. The three people arrested have been identified as Dilpreet Singh Bouns, a 43-year-old man from Mississauga, Vikas, a 23-year-old man from Brampton, and Amritpal Singh, a 31-year-old man also from Mississauga.
