Hugh Jackman weighs after Martha Stewartthe viral claim that Ryan Reynolds is “not so funny” in real life.

“Finally, someone says it,” Jackman, 56, shared via X on Saturday, November 2, poking fun at his Deadpool and Wolverine costar.

Stewart, 83, appeared as a guest on Bilt’ rewards Free rent game show where he was asked to guess which celebrities the Bilt members thought would be the most fun to hang out with. (Bilt is a loyalty program in which members receive points for paying rent.)

When Reynolds’ name was mentioned, Stewart disagreed. “He’s probably on the list just because he covers up in his films and you don’t see his face,” she said. “You want to know something?” He’s not that funny in real life. No, he’s not that funny. He is very serious.

Stewart’s dig quickly went viral, and it wasn’t long before Reynolds, 48, intervened.

“I would disagree with her. But I tried that once,” he shared via X on Saturday, in response to a Pop Crave post about Stewart’s quote. “The woman is surprisingly lively. She really closed the gap after about a kilometer and a half.

During Stewart’s appearance on the game show, she also guessed that her best friend Snoop Dogg was listed as one of the funniest celebrities – and she was right. The last person mentioned was Taylor Swiftwhich Stewart called “charming.”

In Stewart’s perfect world, she would “take Ryan off the roster” and trade him George Clooney.

“He’s fun,” she added. “George is really nice to hang out with.”
