This comes after an Indian consular camp at the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton, Canada, witnessed a “violent disturbance”. The incident took place on Sunday (local time) outside a consular camp organized in collaboration with the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton, near Toronto.

“Action must be taken against the culprits. The Canadian Prime Minister has condemned this incident. But condemning it is not enough. He must act immediately. The government must put pressure on Canada so that the country’s administration catches the culprits and take strict action,” Acharya Satyendra Das told ANI.

Earlier, the Indian High Commission in Canada condemned “violent disturbances” outside a consular camp in Brampton and raised concerns over the safety of Indian nationals in the country.

The Indian High Commission said any further events would be organized “subject to security arrangements” made by local authorities.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also condemned the recent attack on the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton by Khalist extremists. Stressing the importance of religious freedom, Trudeau said every Canadian has the right to practice their faith freely and safely.
