We do not expect SamsungGalaxy S25 to arrive before January 2025, which gives us at least two months of rumors about Samsung’s next flagship phone lineup. Yet even with details about screens, features and even Galaxy S25 colorswe already know the most salient details of the new devices: at least some of the models will be powered by seriously upgraded silicon.

This would be the Snapdragon 8 Eliterevealed last month by Qualcomm. As part of the detailed presentation of its latest high-end system-on-a-chip, Qualcomm also took note of phone makers’ commitment to integrating the Snapdragon 8 Elite into upcoming devices – and Samsung was on the list. No one has said anything about Galaxy S25 phones featuring the new silicon, but it’s not really a big leap to assume that this is the Samsung phone in question.
