NBA L2M report refutes Kings’ overtime loss to Raptors

THE Kings of Sacramento took one to the chin against the Toronto Raptors Saturday, losing 131-128 in an overtime thriller on the road.

The Kings struggled when it mattered most, but the NBA Last Two Minutes Report suggests that a few missed calls could have affected the outcome of the match.

There were two incorrect non-calls against the Raptors in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter and overtime on Saturday:

While those non-calls may have made a difference for the Kings in the end, it’s no excuse for Sacramento to slow down and lose this game to an inferior Raptors team.

The NBA’s report of the last two minutes does nothing for the outcome of the game, except that the league acknowledges its referee’s errors. The Kings certainly would have had a better chance of winning in Toronto on Saturday if those calls had been favorable, but the outcome remains the same.
