Heard outside the Michigan locker room: Finding motivation for the rest of the season

ANN ARBOR – Another game, another somber mood at Michigan’s postgame news conference following a 38-17 loss to No. 1 Oregon on Saturday.

The Wolverines were slow to start and had no answer to the Ducks’ high-octane offense in the first half, falling behind 28-10. They got as close as 11 points in the second half and had a few drives with a chance to make it a one-score game, but didn’t capitalize. Saturday was Michigan’s fourth loss of the season – one more than the previous three seasons combined.
