To celebrate Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary, the new Hello Kitty and Friends Café has Universal CityWalk Hollywood is adding three limited-time treats to its menu.

In celebration of Hello Kitty Day, Friday, November 1, guests will be able to purchase three new 50th birthday themed items, a birthday cake, a 50th birthday cookie sandwich and a 50th birthday sparkling drink.

The birthday cake is a confetti cake covered in white chocolate mousse and topped with whipped white ganache, as well as a chocolate decoration of Hello Kitty’s iconic bow.

The 50th Cookie Sandwich is a strawberry sugar cookie with raspberry buttercream between the layers and also features the decoration of a chocolate bow.

The final limited-time item is the 50th Sparkling Drink, a strawberry soda topped with coconut cream foam. On top of the mousse is strawberry powder sprinkled with 50th anniversary decor. 50th anniversary items will be available for purchase until December 31.

In addition to their signature menu items such as the Berry and Cream Churro and Macaron Set, the to-go menu also introduces two new hot drinks, the Mocha Bow Bomb Latte and the Hot Chocolate Bow Bomb. Each drink comes with a chocolate sphere that melts to reveal mini marshmallows and a pink bow marshmallow when placed in the drink.

Next to the Hello Kitty and Friends cafe is the Sanrio Smile Shop, which sells a wide variety of Hello Kitty and Friends products. The store is also selling a few 50th anniversary items to celebrate Hello Kitty, including a loungefly backpack, stationery and a gold Hello Kitty ears headband.
