How does this work?

A coffee and bakery franchise has opened a new location in Mississauga.

Danish Coffee Roasters has just opened its doors at 129 Lakeshore Rd. E. in Port Credit.

The store is part of the Danish Pastry House franchise, which has locations in Square 1 Shopping Centerin downtown Erin Mills and throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

The new Port Credit location serves coffee, lattes, pastries and cookies. There are seats in the store.

The cafe is a welcome addition to Port Credit, according to area residents.

“I can’t wait to try it!” » wrote one person in the Port Credit Friends Facebook group.

“I love Danish pastry,” said another.

Danish Pastry House and Danish Coffee Roasters were born from Danish-Canadian Anita Lauritsen’s idea to share the Danish lifestyle with Canadians through traditional Danish artisan baking and Nordic-style coffee roasting.

The bakery features a variety of Scandinavian comfort foods created with authentic Danish recipes passed down from her mother and grandmother, the website states.
