Laval police are looking for a suspect in 2 robberies

The Laval Police (SPL) are looking for a suspected robber who could be the same person who robbed a jewelry store and a convenience store in the Vimont district.

The SPL indicated in a press release that a jewelry store was robbed in the Vimont district on September 24 and that a convenience store was robbed two days later in the Saint-François sector.

Both times, the suspect left in a blue Dodge Journey.

“He allegedly demanded the contents of the cash register and threatened the seller with a gun,” the SPL said of the jewelry store robbery.

At the convenience store, the suspect finished purchasing some items, then “allegedly pulled out a gun, threatened the clerk and demanded the contents of the cash register.”
