The wait is over, Dodger the fans! For the first time in 36 years, the Los Angeles Dodgers will get a World Series Parade.

The historic victory marks the Dodgers’ eighth World Series championship and their first title since 2020. When the Dodgers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays in six games in the 2020 Fall Classic, an in-person parade concluded. it doesn’t happen this fall due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Dodgers announced that the parade will take place on Friday, November 1, 2024. The parade will pass through downtown Los Angeles before the players take the stage at Dodger Stadium.

As for the parade route, the team will depart from Los Angeles City Hall and players, their families and coaches will walk down West 1st Street, then turn onto Grand Avenue, then head towards West 5th Street. then end the route near Hope Street and Flower Street.

The Dodgers beat the New York Yankees 7-6 in Game 5 on Wednesday night, winning the best-of-7 series 4-1 with Freddie Freeman named World Series MVP.
