The Sudbury Baby Expo is back and under a new name: Bellies, Babies and Beyond!

The first annual event, held last year in October, brought together more than 80 exhibitors and nearly 550 guests.

Hosts – Lindsey Chamberland and Karleen Hache – say they are working hard on this year’s event, excited to once again support Northern Ontario families.

“With the overwhelming and heartwarming show of support from the community, Karleen and Lindsey are taking it one step further, in keeping with their mission to create an informative and immersive experience for expectant and new parents,” they said in a statement. .

“Their goal is to help mothers through this drastic transition and provide counseling through postpartum, supporting Northern Ontario families and helping rebuild our long-lost villages.”

This year, the event will take place at the Sudbury Arena (240 Elgin Street) on Saturday, November 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thanks to sponsors, the larger room allows Tummy, Babies and Beyond! be more central, with plenty of free parking and expand to accommodate more exhibitors.

“It also allows for even wider aisles, making it easier for strollers to navigate, an activity zone so little ones have a place to take a break, and much more,” the release said. “The exhibitors selected so far are a wonderful mix of community resources, services and products for parents and little ones.”

Chamberland and Hache announced the decision to rename Bellies, Babies and Beyond! “That’s because parenting and postpartum doesn’t end when your baby learns to crawl. The changes experienced after childbirth are lifelong and the support should be as well. So at the event you’ll find resources tailored to people planning to conceive, during pregnancy, postpartum, babies, toddlers and now: beyond.
