World’s first James Bond bar opens in London with 007 Gear

“A martini.” Shaken, not stirred. You can now say James Bond’s iconic drink order from ‘Goldfinger’ at the world’s first 007 bar, at Burlington Arcade in London. Created to celebrate the film’s 60th anniversary, the pop-up cocktail bar and boutique will remain open until the end of the year.

The luxury shopping arcade, built in 1818 by Lord George Cavendish in the heart of Mayfair, was covered in a custom Bond carpet featuring lines from the famous film series. Three handcrafted golden car sculptures hang above, in homage to the legendary Bond character. Aston Martin DB5.

In all eight films Bond drove the car, it was upgraded with MI6 gadgets like a smoke screen, ejection seat and high-pressure water jets.

007 displays many authentic Bond memorabilia. Fans of the film franchise, the Ian Fleming spy novels that inspired them and the actors who played the debonair British secret service agent will appreciate never-before-seen accessories, including a gold bar from Fort Knox, the hat of ‘Oddjob, Goldfinger’s golf shoes and a peephole clock from his private plane.

Also on display are the only two Bond watches made in yellow gold: Omega’s Seamaster Diver 300M Commander’s Watch (from 2017) and the Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond Limited Edition (from 2019), the latter created to mark the 50th anniversary of “On Her Majesty’s”. Secret service.”

Just in time for the holidays, the 007 Shop offers exclusive collectibles such as a luxury James Bond 2024 Advent calendar, limited edition framed prints and the Globe-Trotter champagne case from Champagne Bollinger, containing a magnum with two flutes.

The venue features two bars, both serving signature cocktails created in partnership with Belvedere, Blackwell Rum, Macallan and Bollinger. Bolly has been Bond’s favorite champagne since 1979’s “Moonraker.” When the handsome spy spotted a bottle chilling in Holly Goodhead’s hotel room in Venice, he exclaimed: “Bollinger!” If it’s 69, you were waiting for me!
