Mayor Scott Gillingham presented 30 Winnipeg 150 Medal recipients from across the city with their medals during a ceremony at Assiniboine Park on October 19. The recipients had trees planted in their names after the medal presentation.

A total of 150 medals were presented at ceremonies across the city this month.

The recipients celebrated at Assiniboine Park were Abdo (Albert) El Tassi, Barbara Nepinak, Barry Karlenzig, Bob Williams, Chimwemwe Undi, Connie Newman, Daniel Hidalgo, David Northcott, Desiree Scott, Hannah Taylor, Jessica Boittiaux and Kay Lizon, Junel Malapad, Kent. Dueck, Khawja Latif, Kristen Sawatzky, Liliya Medynska and Josh Goossen, Matt Cohen, Nadia Thompson, Paul Moist, Peter McMullen, Ravi Ramberran, Rennie Zegalski, Robyn Brown, Ro-Jean Anstett, Samantha Rayburn, Scott Oake, Shahina Siddiqui, Sister Lesley Sacouman, Tim Hague Sr. and Wilma Derksen.
