Vicki Gunvalson was understandably shaken to the core when her mother died. The Real Housewives of Orange County fans probably remember the tragic moment she found out. On Watch what’s happening liveshe admitted it was the most “devastating” day of her life.

She missed her mother so much that she spoken with a medium in hopes that she can communicate with her one last time. No one can blame Vicki the sorrow she felt. Unfortunately, according to Vicki, it turns out that Well done didn’t help the devastation she experienced.

Bravo allegedly tried to stop Vicki Gunvalson from speaking with her daughter

October 28 PEOPLE have shared their first look at Vice’s Real Housewives episode of The Dark Side of Reality TV. In the clip, Vicki shared the traumatic experience of learning of her mother’s death. What added to the trauma was that Bravo allegedly tried to hide the affair from her during filming.

Vicki recalled “playing Bunko” during filming has Shannon Beador’s home when his family tried to tell him the news. When Shannon didn’t answer the phone, her family called production. Vicki’s daughter was “calling, calling, calling, and they kept saying, ‘Well, she’s filming right now, blah, blah, blah,'” Vicki recalls.

Eventually, production relented and set up Shannon’s wrapping paper room “with lights and camera people” so Vicki could take the call on camera. “I was really upset that production had known for an hour and they hadn’t told me,” Vicki said. “They crossed the line and I think they should have taken me aside and said, ‘Your mother died.’ Talk to your daughter off camera.

Vicki added: “Let me scream and cry by myself and be angry. It was very, very traumatic. I will never forgive Bravo for this. Representatives for Bravo did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
