Another newly renovated hotel has opened in Revelstoke, British Columbia

THE Northwinds Hotel Revelstoke is the third Basecamp Resorts hotel to open in the mountain community.

Formerly Days Inn Revelstoke, Northwinds is located in the 300 block of Wright Street.

Officials say they spent months renovating and transforming the property into a comfortable, modern and affordable place to stay.

Northwinds has 57 guest rooms, each with a spacious living room, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and locally made bath products from Rocky Mountain Soap Co.

One of the property’s main draws will be the rooftop, featuring a lounge area and hot tub with views of the surrounding mountain ranges, scheduled to open in late fall .

Basecamp Resorts has two other hotels in Revelstoke: Base Camp Suites on East Second Street and Base Camp Resorts on Highway 23 North.

The company’s fourth hotel in British Columbia is located in Golden.
